As founder of the firm, David has directed and contributed to many of the firm's projects and often testified as an expert witness. Much of David's work has focused on land, water, energy and other natural resource conservation, protection and use under public-private contracting. David has a Bachelor in Engineering from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from Harvard University, receiving both degrees with Distinction.

Jim has been with the firm for over 30 years and been the principal investigator for many of the firm's water resources projects. Jim has been the firm’s principal expert witness in federal and state court addressing Indian water rights matters. He has a B.S. in Economics from the University of Kansas and a J.D./M.B.A. from Stanford University.

Casey has managed economic and financial analyses for the National Park Service, General Services Administration, California State Parks, Department of Justice, several state and local government agencies, the University of California Office of the President, Native American tribes, Scottish Enterprise, Economic Development Edmonton, the World Bank, and various private sector clients. Casey has a B.A. in Economics from Harvard University and both an M.B.A. and an M.A. in Energy and Environmental Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
